Do tej pory uwielbiam takie numery jak \u201eChaos\u201d, \u201eReign-Carrion\u201d oraz \u201eThe Final Massacre\u201d (riffy otwieraj\u0105ce ten numer za ka\u017cdym razem daj\u0105 mi ciary!). Tym ostatnim zainspirowa\u0142 si\u0119 nawet sam Darkthrone i mo\u017cna wychwyci\u0107 to w jednym z utwor\u00f3w na p\u0142ycie \u201eUnder a <a><\/a>Funeral Moon\u201d. Energia, pasja i umiej\u0119tno\u015bci, kt\u00f3re wylewaj\u0105 si\u0119 z tej ta\u015bmy by\u0142y zapowiedzi\u0105 tego, czym ten zesp\u00f3\u0142 ju\u017c nied\u0142ugo si\u0119 stanie. Ka\u017cdy utw\u00f3r to majstersztyk! No i to w\u0142a\u015bnie tutaj nieod\u017ca\u0142owany Docent pokaza\u0142 pierwszy raz pe\u0142en wachlarz swoich umiej\u0119tno\u015bci jako perkusisty, totalny chaos! Brzmienie perkusji, jak przyznaje Faust (ex Emperor), by\u0142o inspiracj\u0105 do brzmienia gar\u00f3w na \u201eDe Mysteriis Dom Sathanas\u201d Mayhem. \u201eMorbid Reich\u201d by\u0142 pocz\u0105tkiem rzeczy wa\u017cnych nie tylko dla samego zespo\u0142u, ale i polskiej sceny undergroundowej. To tutaj rozpocz\u0119\u0142a si\u0119 trwaj\u0105ca do tej pory wsp\u00f3\u0142praca Petera z Mariuszem Kmio\u0142kiem, managerem zespo\u0142u. Mariusz powo\u0142a\u0142 wtedy do \u017cycia s\u0142ynne Carnage Records, kt\u00f3rego pierwszym wydawnictwem by\u0142o, rzecz jasna, \u201eMorbid Reich\u201d. Owa ta\u015bma demo mia\u0142a te\u017c za zadanie znale\u017a\u0107 zespo\u0142owi wydawc\u0119 na zachodzie i to si\u0119 uda\u0142o \u2013 by\u0142o to Earache.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Kaseta mia\u0142a w pe\u0142ni profesjonalne wydanie. Kolorow\u0105 rozk\u0142adan\u0105 wk\u0142adk\u0119, specjalnie wykonan\u0105 naklejk\u0105 na obu stronach kasety. Jak wie\u015b\u0107 gminna niesie, ta\u015bma rozesz\u0142a si\u0119 w oko\u0142o 20 tys. egzemplarzy co daje najwi\u0119ksz\u0105 liczb\u0119 rozes\u0142anych kopii dema w historii sceny metalowej. Egzystowa\u0142o kilka jej wersji. Ta z Carnage mia\u0142a swoj\u0105 standardow\u0105 oraz prototyp ze \u201ez\u0142ot\u0105\u201d grafik\u0105 na ok\u0142adce, kt\u00f3ry rozsy\u0142any by\u0142 jeszcze przed pojawieniem si\u0119 ostatecznej wersji. Nie by\u0142o tego jednak du\u017co i to wydanie jest ju\u017c rarytasem kolekcjonerskim. W 1991 roku pojawi\u0142o si\u0119 jeszcze pirackie wydanie zawieraj\u0105ce dodatkowo demo \u201eNecrolust\u201d oraz nieco inn\u0105 wk\u0142adk\u0119. Natomiast w 1994 roku demo wznowi\u0142o na kasecie Baron Records. Ta\u015bma mia\u0142a naklejk\u0119 z elementami grafiki ok\u0142adki, a sama wk\u0142adka zosta\u0142a poddana laminacji, co da\u0142o naprawd\u0119 super efekt. T\u0119 wersj\u0119 posiadam i j\u0105 widzicie na zdj\u0119ciach poni\u017cej. W 2015 roku, za spraw\u0105 Witching Hour Productions demo zosta\u0142o po raz pierwszy wydane na samodzielnym CD oraz winylu i przy okazji kolejny raz na kasecie.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">VADER \u2013 40 YEARS OF WAR AND CHAOS #1<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&#8222;Morbid Reich&#8221; (1990) is the material that I consider to be the best demo that has appeared in the history of the Polish metal scene and one of my favourite Vader releases. I still love such tracks as &#8222;Chaos&#8221;, &#8222;Reign-Carrion&#8221; and &#8222;The Final Massacre&#8221; (the opening riffs of this one give me shivers every time!). The latter was even an inspiration for Darkthrone themselves and can be picked up in one of the tracks on the album, \u201cUnder a Funeral Moon\u201d. The energy, passion and skill that pours out of this tape was a harbinger of what this band would soon become. Every song is a masterpiece! Well, and it was here that the irrepressible Docent showed the full range of his skills as a drummer for the first time, total chaos! The sound of the drums, as Faust (ex Emperor) admits, was the inspiration for the drum sound on Mayhem&#8217;s &#8222;De Mysteriis Dom Sathanas&#8221;. &#8222;Morbid Reich&#8221; was the beginning of things important not only for the band itself, but also for the Polish underground scene. It was here that Peter&#8217;s still ongoing collaboration with Mariusz Kmio\u0142ek, the band&#8217;s manager, began. Mariusz then set up the famous Carnage Records, whose first release was, of course, &#8222;Morbid Reich&#8221;. This demo tape was also tasked with finding the band a publisher in the west and it did its job &#8211; it was Earache.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The cassette had a fully professional edition. A colour fold-out insert, a specially made sticker on both sides of the cassette. It is said that the tape sold in around 20,000 copies and can be counted as the demo with the highest number of demo copies sold in the history of the metal scene. Several versions of it existed. The one from Carnage had its standard one and a prototype with &#8222;golden\u201d cover art, which was sent out even before the final version appeared. There wasn&#8217;t much of this and this edition is a collector&#8217;s gem. In 1991, there was also a pirate edition containing additionally the demo &#8222;Necrolust&#8221; and a slightly different insert. In 1994, on the other hand, the demo was reissued on cassette by Baron Records. The cassette had a sticker with elements of the cover artwork, and the insert itself was laminated, which gave a really cool effect. This is the version I own and you can see it in the pictures below.
